Support for
Local Schools
East Side Connect champions educational excellence by funding capital campaigns for extracurricular programs at Cedar Shoals High School, Gaines Elementary, Hilsman Middle, and Whit Davis Elementary. Through direct financial support and in-store promotion of school events, we ensure our students have access to enriching opportunities that foster academic achievement, creativity, and community pride.
Community & Neighborhood Support
We strengthen East Side identity by creating tangible connections among our diverse residents. Through branded merchandise available on our website and memorable giveaway items at public events, we foster neighborhood pride and belonging. This initiative builds lasting relationships that transform individual residents into a unified, engaged community with shared values and vision.
Community Events & Programming
The group is discussing offering events designed to celebrate East Side culture include a Walking Tour of East Side Restaurants, an annual "East Side Days" Street Festival featuring live entertainment, and historic programming including talks and tours that feature and interpret the rich and vital information about the area's past. These experiences showcase its unique character while creating opportunities for neighbors to connect, local businesses to thrive, and community bonds to flourish.
