East Side Connect Launches as New Nonprofit Organization Dedicated to Strengthening Athens' East Side Community

Local Business Owners Unite to Support Civic Improvements, Schools, and Community Events Through New Initiative

ATHENS, GA – A new nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing Athens, Georgia's East Side has officially launched with the debut of its website at https://athenseastsideconnect.com. East Side Connect brings together local business owners committed to strengthening the community through civic improvements, school support, and engaging community events.

East Side Connect works to preserve and enhance the area's exceptional quality of life, neighborhood charm, and thriving local business community. The organization's mission centers on creating enduring, positive impact by bringing together diverse residents and supporting public schools while celebrating what makes the East Side a desirable place to live, work, and visit.

"We're excited to formalize our commitment to the East Side community through East Side Connect," said Dan Roth, Co-Chair of the organization. "By uniting local business owners and residents, we can make a meaningful difference in preserving the unique character and quality of life that defines our area."

The nonprofit organization focuses on three core areas:

• Civic Improvements – Supporting infrastructure and community enhancement projects

• School Support – Partnering with local public schools to provide resources and assistance

• Community Events – Organizing activities that bring neighbors together and celebrate local culture

East Side Connect represents a collaborative effort among diverse business owners who recognize the importance of investing in their community's future. The organization aims to build bridges between residents, businesses, and local institutions to create lasting positive change.
